Kal is currently a Character Designer at Baobab Studios, working on an unannounced VR project. Additionally Kal is collaborating with artists from across the industry on the short animated film, Sonder.

Kal is a recent graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. In the Spring of 2016, he earned his B.F.A in Computer Animation, with a focus on visual development, storyboarding, 3D modeling, and layout & previs.

He co-directed, and was the Art Director for the animated short film, "The Wishgranter". The film has been showed and won awards at over 20 film festivals around the world, and most recently was named a winner of the 43rd Student Academy Awards®
